Fitting notes
- Fit as per the manufacturer's service manual.
- Designed for the 215LW 3-bolt type differential found in the early 135i (manual) and the 335i (large type case only).
- Later 215LW spline type units, found in the 135i, 235i, 335i and others, need custom laser-cut removal work to fit.
- Initial torque can be adjusted with thicker or thinner cone springs.
- TCD-spec discs can be fitted for better oil cooling and smoother operation.
